Rosslyn Heights East contains 56 one- and two-bedroom condominium units situated in two buildings on 1.78 acres. Its red-brick garden apartment style buildings were completed in 1951-1952. The complex, which includes two surface parking lots with a total of 60 spaces, was converted to condominiums in 1981. Addresses are 1220, 1222, 1224, 1300, 1302 and 1304 North Meade St., Arlington, Va. 22209.
Rosslyn Heights East sits across North Meade St. from the 25-acre Arlington Ridge Park containing the Marine Corps War (Iwo Jima) Memorial and Netherlands Carillon. RHE also is just across Route 50 from the Rosslyn area of Arlington County and about a half block from the northern edge of Arlington National Cemetery. The condominium also lies in a direct line with the Capitol, Washington Monument and Lincoln Memorial, all of which can be seen from RHE grounds.
RHE is governed by a five-member board and its common areas, grounds and utilities are managed on a day-to-day basis by a property management company hired by the board. Management of individual units is the responsibility of the unit owner or a management company hired by the unit owner.
